The most important Christian publishing event in continental Europe in 2010: Marketsquare Europe includes workshops, inspiration, selection of the European Christian Book of the Year, and the opportunity to meet with other major publishers from Europe and around the world. 

Oradea, Romania was chosen due to its central location in Eastern Europe-near Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and other countries-and the many Christian publishers in the area. "Christian publishers in Romania told us that nearly 85% of their publishing is translated from English titles," says ChristianTrade President Jim Powell. "With 60 Christian publishers in the country, Romania may be the center of Christian publishing in Eastern Europe."

"Negotiating International Translation Rights" - Cindy Riggins, president, Riggins International Rights, will discuss how to negotiate the best rights deal for your publishing house.

"Working Together" - Els de Jong Van-Gurp and Marc Schaeffer of BCB in the Netherlands will provide an overview of how an association can benefit all involved in the Christian trade.
